A Calmbirth Story.
We welcomed our beautiful daughter Florence Isobel at 38+5 on 7th September.
Calmbirth was integral in preparing Rowan and I for labour and although I didn’t consciously recognise it during delivery I believe this program was to thank for our positive birth experience.
I felt confident and in control throughout all stages of labour, I did choose to have an epidural however Calmbirth had given me the information to ensure I was able to make these decisions and request at the appropriate time.
The content of Calmbirth meant we felt fully informed during all stages of labour, I knew my options and Rowan was able to offer the right support and advocate on my behalf where needed. Prior to Calmbirth I was anxious and unprepared, Calmbirth gave me confidence to trust my body to do what was needed.
